Everything here is fair trade, like the wool rugs made by Tibetan refugees (£295) and recycled cotton throws hand-embroidered by women’s co-ops in India (£295-£450). The staff know their stuff, too, right down to the obscure type of stitching and remote regions of Nepal. Not surprisingly, quality is top-notch: the silk cushions, appliqued bedspreads, and handmade paper lampshades are all exquisitely detailed.
