Care advice We recommend a 30 degree wash for all our machine-washable fabrics, and the use of ecologically low impact detergents, such as Ecover. Specific fabrics covered below: Handloom / khadi cotton (not innaphi handloom -see below) Unless otherwise stated, machine wash at 30 degrees, with similar colours. Innaphi (jamdani) handloom cotton Hand wash. Do not wring. Drip dry, and iron when damp - cool iron / iron over another cloth. Re-starching is advised, especially if they are used as drapes. The stiffness is an integral feature and makes them hang better. Kanther embroidery we recommend a cool hand wash. Iron when damp. Corduroy Unless otherwise stated, machine wash at 30 degrees, with similar colours. Denim Unless otherwise stated, machine wash at 30 degrees, with similar colours. Scrunched silk / scrunched khadi cotton Unless otherwise stated, machine wash at 30 degrees. To maintain texture scrunch into a ball to dry.
Alpaca Hand wash or machine wash at 30 degrees or a special wool programme. Use a mild or special wool detergent. Do not wring. Roll into a towel to remove excess moisture. Fold and dry and flat. Tiger rugs Use a wool carpet cleaner, follow specific instructions. Wool /synthetic blends eg mohair mix blanket dry clean
